After School Chocolate Chip Cookies
Nothing turns up the heat in my mom-meter more than my babies being sick, and this week we have a little bug going around our house which means I’m at mamma-bear peak! I’ve been cleaning the house and making it cozy with blankets and candles. I’ve been making healthy soups in the crockpot. I’ve been organizing closets and making chore charts. But best of all I’ve been baking up some comfort-style goodies in the kitchen. One of my favorite memories of growing up is how cozy it would be to come home to my mom after school when she’d been baking cookies. Nothing screams welcome home better than the smell of fresh cookies out of the oven, so for my big kids who will be coming home from school soon, I’ve made my most favorite ever chocolate chip cookies recipe. Now believe it or not, I have a whole section in my recipe book for just chocolate chip cookies. I have protein chocolate chip cookies. I have high fiber ones. I even have weight watchers and keto chocolate chip cookies. But the ones I’m going to share with you today are my cozy, welcome home chocolate chip cookies. It’s my mom’s recipe that she actually got from the Mrs. Fields cookie recipes. There isn’t one ounce of these cookies that are healthy for you, but they are however 100% good for your soul! Enjoy ❤️
