Best Ever Daily Cleaning Schedule

Okay you guys. I'm going to spill some real first world problems right here. Last year we had to give up having a cleaning lady. A real tragedy, I know. But seriously. Maintaining a clean and tidy house is no small feat, so when my husband and I were both working full time having a cleaning lady was a huge help. Instead of spending our Saturdays and Sundays dusting light fixtures and mopping floors, we wanted to be able to actually spend time together as a family. So with me being at home last year, guess who got promoted to full-time cleaning lady? This gal right here! At first, I was finding it hard to get myself into a good cleaning groove. It seemed like I would just chase a mess around the house in circles, never really accomplishing anything. I'd clean up a mess in the dining room, only to find the baby had made a new mess in the living room. I'd get some cleaning done in the bedroom, only to find that the baby had emptied the dresser drawers while I was working. It was like I was trading one mess for another. That is until I found the most perfect cleaning schedule ever! I'm not kidding you guys! Through trial and error I found the most efficient, the most convenient, the most easy cleaning schedule, and I found that going through this list every day kept my house in tip-top shape. My favorite thing about this routine is that each chore flows right into the next for maximum efficiency! Even weekly chores get a designated day, and you'll see that I put grocery shopping for Fridays because everybody needs a little TGIF in their life, and lets be honest, when you're this thick into motherhood, a trip to the grocery store feels like a Caribbean cruise, am I right?

So here you are. A little gift from me to you. And if you have some good house keeping tips I'd love to hear them in the comments section below! Enjoy!
